Pallel Keithel to close every Nongma Panba

Kakching, September 02 2024: Following a joint resolution of different CSOs and locals, Pallel Keithel will remain close on the first day of every Meetei lunar month (Nongma Panba) .

According to a statement of Pallel Bazar Board Action Committee, the decision will cover other trade activities in the surrounding areas of Pallel Keithel effective from Wednesday onwards.

The committee has appealed to all concerned to cooperate with the decision, while adding that the decision will not cover shops dealing in medicines and religious activities.
