Imphal, August 25 2025: Kshetrigao Nupi Lamjing Lup organised a mass tree plantation drive along Naharup Makhapat Eco Road on Sunday.

Over 100 women from different parts of Kshetrigao actively participated in the drive, planting varieties of fruit-bearing seedlings such as mango, jujube, ambarella, lemon, etc.

Dr Ch Sillaramani, advisor of Kshetrigao Nupi Lamjing Lup and former Dean, DM University; Kshetri Tama Devi, former Up-Adakshya, Imphal East Zilla Parishad; and M Damayenti Devi, president, Kshetrigao Nupi Lamjing Lup also participated in the tree plantation drive which was held under the theme, "Go Green, Breathe Clean" .
