Imphal, December 25 2008: AN OFFICIAL notification by the executive engineer, National Highways Division No.11 of the State Public Works Department (PWD) dated December 23, 2008, has stated that the western carriage way of the road from km 321.460 (Hicham Yaicham Pat) to km 321.655 (Chingakham Leikrak) of NH-39 shall be closed to traffic in connection with the laying of sewer pipelines.

The closure shall be in worce with immediate effect till the comletion sewegage work in the sketch, the notice added Traffic for both the directions shall be allowed on the easter carriageway only at this stretch during the period the notification said.
