Imphal, July 21 2025: The Excise Department has announced that August 25 of every year will be observed as Manipur Excise Raising Day from 2025 onwards.

According to a press release issued by Hungyo Worshang, Commissioner of Excise, the services of Excise officials will be recognised and they will be honoured for their dedication', hard work and outstanding duty on Manipur Excise Raising Day.
