Imphal, September 20 2026: The indefinite road blockade on Lamsang to Khurkhul Road called by Lamsang to Khurkhul Road Construction Demand Committee from September 21 has been withdrawn.

The committee announced the withdrawal after the State Government started construction work on the road.

In a statement, the committee said as the Government has begun road construction as demanded, the proposed indefinite bandh from September 21 stands withdrawn with immediate effect.

It thanked the Government for taking up the work and appealed to the public for cooperation.
