Imphal, February 11 2026: A 1-day Blood Donation Camp was organised today at the Asian Hospital & Research Institute in Kwakeithel, in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS Hospital, Imphal.

The event was held under the theme "Donate blood Save Lives" .

About 55 individuals donated blood during the camp.

Speaking about the initiative, Wangkheirakpam Robertson, Assistant General Manager of the hospital, stated that donating blood is a life-saving act.

He mentioned that the camp was conducted with the objective of providing assistance, even if minimal, to people in the region who face a shortage of blood when they fall ill.
