CGM SBI(NE Circle) calls on Governor

Imphal, September 08 2025: Prabhas Bose, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India (NE Circle), along with three senior officials, called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal today.

As per a release issued by PRO Raj Bhavan, the team gave a comprehensive briefing on the recent initiatives and activities undertaken by SBI, especially those involving centrally sponsored schemes and efforts to strengthen financial inclusion in the North East region.

The officials also highlighted challenges in extending banking services to remote areas.

The Governor appreciated SBI's commitment and urged continued efforts to enhance accessibility and support economic development in the region.
