MLA extends assistance to injured scribe

Imphal, July 04 2025: Wangkhei MLA Th Arunkumar enquired well-being of journalist Sapam Aruna and provided financial assistance to the scribe recuperating from injuries suffered in an accident recently.

MLA Arunkumar visited Aruna's residence at Soibam Leikai Friday and handed over the financial assistance to the injured scribe personally and prayed for speedy recovery.

According to MLA Arunkumar, journalists are shouldering immense responsibility in restoring peace and normalcy in the state by working day and night.

Accordingly, no disturbance should be given to journalists in delivering their service to the people, he said and vowed to help scribes at the time of medical emergency.
