Imphal, June 23 2010:
The body of a yet to be identified man was fished out from Nambul river near Langthabal Lep Mayai Leikai today morning.
According to police report, the body which was already in high state of decomposition was floating down the river when some passers-by saw it.
There were no injury marks on the body and identity of the deceased is yet to be established.
Singjamei Police have retrieved the corpse and deposited it at the mortuary of RIMS.
The deceased is around 5 feet tall with short hair.
He was found clad in striped full-sleeve shirt of blue and white colour, coffee colour long pant and rubber shoes.
He was also wearing latex gloves on both his hands, the police report said.
