Langthabal Club appeals against waste dumping

Imphal, July 25 2026: Langthabal Khoupum Cultural Club has appealed to poultry and fish vendors in the area to stop dumping waste and feathers in and around Khoupum at night.

In a press release, the club said the practice causes foul smell, health hazards, and unhygienic conditions for residents.

It urged those involved to dispose of waste properly.

The club also requested concerned authorities and local bodies to monitor the area and take necessary action to prevent indiscriminate dumping and maintain cleanliness.
