Four MPS officers transferred

Imphal, May 23 2026: The Director General of Police, Manipur, issued transfer and posting orders for four MPS officers with immediate effect in public interest on May 21 .

As per the order, Mangsidam Dimartan Singh, DSP (Ops)/Imphal East, has been posted as AC/4th IRB.

Shiek Muhammad Hussain Ahmed, SDPO/Nungba, has been transferred as AC/2nd MR.AS Somi Tangkhul, AC/6th MR, will take charge as SDPO/Ukhrul.

Phaomei Gaithoipou Kabui, AC/5th MR, has been posted as SDPO/Nungba.

The concerned Superintendents of Police and Commandants have been directed to relieve the officers immediately and report compliance.
