Imphal, August 22 2025: The recognition granted to Namjoklung High School, Sawombung, Imphal East, (School Code 22023) has been withdrawn for a period of 3 years from the academic session 2026-27 to 2029-30 .

As per an order issued by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur, the school's recognition was withdrawn in pursuance of 'Resolution No 2.1' of the 1st meeting of Recognition Committee of the Board held on May 28, 2025 and 'Resolution No 1' of the Board's 3rd meeting held on August 8, 2025 .
