Imphal, July 20 2025: One Heisnam Boynao alias Kirankumar (33) s/o Sanahal Singh of Moirang Khoiru Awang Leikai under Moirang police station was electrocuted at the same locality on Sunday.

According to a police report, Boynao was rushed to Moirang CHC around 11.30am after accidental contact with a live wire but succumbed to injuries.

Moirang police have registered an unnatural death (UD) case and deposited the body at RIMS morgue for post mortem examination.
