State stall bags prize at Madhya Pradesh Expo

Imphal, May 18 2025: The Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Manipur bagged the second best stall coordination prize at the Asia Agri, Horti and Food Tech Expo-2025 held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from May 14 to 16.The state stall showcased Gl-tagged products of Manipur like Tamenglong orange, Kachai lemon, and Sirarakhong chilli.

Department officials including MIDH mission director Chungong Pamei, officer in-charge Bikram Yumlembam, and assistant agriculture officer Deepak Huidrom, represented the state at the exhibition, which featured 80 stalls from different parts of the country, including multinational companies, showcasing their products.
