Imphal, August 17 2025: A one-day awareness programme on 'Nephrology and its prevalence in Manipur' was jointly organised by Manipur University Health Centre and All Mahipur Kidney Transplant Patients' Welfare Association (AMKTPWA) at MU Health Centre on August 14 .

In a release, AMKTPWA informed that the event was held to mark the foundation anniversary of the Association with Shija Hospitals and Research Institute's nephrologist Dr Guliver Potsangbam speaking on 'Nephrology and its prevalence in Manipur' and Dr Phanjoubam Lanajit Singh highlighting 'Problems faced by kidney transplant patients of Manipur and Free Drug Policy for kidney transplant patients' .
