MPCC clarifies on president's tenure

Imphal, May 16 2025: Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has clarified that the term of president of MPCC is not three years, as reported in some media outlets.

In a release, MPCC informed that the term of the president is five years under Article VI (i) of the Constitution of Indian National Congress & Rules, as amended and approved at the 83rd Congress Plenary Session, 2010 & 85th Congress Plenary Session, 2023 .
