Pherzawl observes No Tobacco Day

Imphal, June 15 2025: World No Tobacco Day was observed on Sunday in Pherzawl district under the global theme, "Unmasking the Appeal: Exposing Industry Tactics on Tobacco & Nicotine" .

Speakers at the observance programme cautioned all concerned on the dangers of tobacco use and expressed sadness that the tobacco industry is harming its most loyal consumers.

They also highlighted the need for greater public awareness and collective action against tobacco and nicotine use.

The programme was attended by district-level officers, medical department officials, and other staff members.
