TAMIU holds 1st GB Meet

Imphal, May 11 2026: The newly constituted Teachers' Association, Manipur International University (TAMIU) held its first Annual General Body Meeting on Monday to discuss the streamlining and effective functioning of the association.

The meeting adopted amendments to the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of TAMIU after detailed deliberations.

Prof Asha Sinha was unanimously elected president.

Dr Ch Sadananda Singh was elected vice president, Dr Chandibai Potsangbam as secretary, Dr Y Bidyananda Singh as joint secretary, and Dr Lourembam Nonie as treasurer.

Dr W Rorrkychand Singh, Dr K Mukta Singh, Dr Senjam Jinus and Dr Debina Saikhom were elected as executive members.
