Imphal, February 11, 2011: The United Kuki Liberation Front has decreed that all clans under Thadou tribe register their names identical with Thadou in the ongoing General Census 2011.A UKLF release issued Department of information and Publicity secretary JM Zou cautioned that no clans under Thadou tribe should include their respective clan and 'our' common nomenclature 'Kuki' such as Haokip - Kuki, Khongsai - Kuki, Touthang - Kuki, Misao - Kuki, etc.

While asking all concerned not to violate the UKLF directive, JM Zou also asked one T Thangjangam Haokip to refrain from tampering census documents already submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur failing which stringent measures would be initiated.
