Prayer meet opposes Waqf Act

Kakching, May 04 2025: A prayer meet held on Friday at Sora Bazar opposed passing of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025 and condemned the terror attack at Pahalgam, Kashmir.

The programme was attended by Anjuman Nasrul Islam (Ulama-e-Association), Sora president Mujibur Rahaman, Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind, Sora president Janab Khan, Madrasa Arabia Hussainia principal Tamijur Rahman, Jamia Rahmania, Sora founder principal Abdul Haque Qasmi and All Sora Clubs' Co-ordinating Committee (ASCCOC) president Zulfiqar Alam Sheikh among others.
