Imphal, September 02 2025: Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West has convicted a 55-year-old man for stealing electrical items and sentenced him to carry out community service for 24 days at Khwairamband Ima Keithel.

The convict sentenced to community service has been identified as Md Ibo Khan of Sangaiyumpham Mathak Leikai.

He was caught while stealing electrical items from Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker's quarter located near Manipur Press Club, Imphal this morning.

Convicted under Section 303 BNS, Md Ibo Khan shall carry out community service for 24 days from September 3 at Khwairamband Ima Keithel for 4 hours a day in two different shifts, said the Court.
