Imphal, December 29 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Emoinu Iratpa Numit, Honiya Enterprises is set to make locally bred Sareng available at five locations along National Highway 137A/Mayai Lambi.

The freshwater catfish will be sold at Samurou Keithel, Snowland Oil Pump at Samurou Naorem, Wangoi, Thongkhong Luxmi Keithel and Mayang Imphal on December 31 .

The State is also making preparations to organise a fish festival on the same day.
It is worth noting that local breeding of Sareng began a few years ago in Manipur.
