Imphal, July 26 2026: Radheshyam Performing Art & Culture Academy presented the Manipuri art form "Khubak Eshei" at Aribam Mandap, Brahmapur Lalji Lakpa Leikai, on Saturday.

Speaking as chief guest, ex-MLA of Naoria Pakhanglakpa AC Soibam Subhashchandra said Khubak Eshei is a valuable heritage passed down by ancestors.

He lauded the academy for its efforts to preserve the traditional art form.

Raj ashri Bheigyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur spokesperson Takhellambam Irabot said Khubak Eshei was once performed nightly at every Bamon Mandap during Kang.

Academy president Khwairakpam Yaimabi and vice president Tekcham Radheshyam also attended the event.
