9th folk drama festival concludes

Imphal, July 20 2025: The five-day 9th All Manipur Folk Drama Festival organised by Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) under the aegis of Ministry of Culture North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), at MDU auditorium, Yaiskul Police Lane concluded on Sunday.

The closing function was attended by Manipur State Kala Akademi secretary Sunanda Thokchom as chief guest, MDU president Soraisham Keshoram as president and Rupmahal Theatre, Imphal vice chairman Loitongbam Brajamohon Singh as guest of honour.

On the closing day, a play 'Pidonnu' directed by Thaninleima Sanabam was staged by artistes of Khenjonglang.
