Imphal, July 19 2025: Renowned socio-political analyst and retired IPS officer Potsangbam Sonanami has breathed his last due to an illness at Shija Hospitals, Langol today.

He was 83 .

Potsangbam Sonamani, a resident of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.

After years of distinguished service in various capacities.

Potsangbam Sonamani retired as a Senior Superintended of Police of Nagaland.

Since then, he has been vocal about the prominent sociopolitical issues in the State.
