MDA mourns demise of Hijam Kumar

Imphal, January 18 2026: Manipur Drivers Association (MDA) has expressed profound sorrow and condolence over the untimely demise of its executive member Hijam Kumar.

Hijam Kumar breathed his last on Sunday morning at his residence in Keithelmanbi.

He was 65 .

In his honour, a condolence meeting was convened at MDA Branch Office in Sekmai.

During the meeting, members of MDA led by president Saikhom Babudhon observed two minutes of silence to pay their respect to the deceased.

The gathering also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
