Imphal, July 16 2025: The Duty Magistrate Imphal West has sent an alleged vehicle lifter to seven days police custody till July 21 .

The accused, identified as Md Yasin of Sora Maning Leikai, was produced before the Court by Singjamei police yesterday.

He has been accused of stealing a 2-wheeler vehicle in Imphal East on July 14 .

He was nabbed by the police after a hot pursuit in a failed attempt to flee with the stolen vehicle.

The police chased him from Kakwa Bazar area and caught him at Thongju Part II .
