DMCTE hosts sesitization programme

Imphal, May 16 2026: As part of its Annual Community Contact and Service Programme for the academic session 2025-26, the Dhanamanjuri College of Teacher Education (DMCTE), Imphal, organised a sensitization workshop titled "Shumang Kumhei: Integrating Indigenous Theatre as a Pedagogical Tool" at the college's Jubilee Hall today.

The workshop focused on the importance of indigenous knowledge systems in modem education.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr Konika Khuraijam, Principal, DMCTE; Khuraijam Dineshkumar Singh, Vice Principal; and Dr Anita Kangabam, IQAC Coordinator as presidium members.

Assistant Professors L David Sharma and S Samueal Singh served as the programme coordinators for the event.
