Imphal, January 13 2026: Under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, the North Eastern Theatre Association (NETA), Heingang showcased their play "Oiroidaba Mangi Lan" at the auditorium of JN Manipuri Dance Academy, Imphal today.

The play is written and directed by Senjam Nimai.

The function was graced by Khongbantabam Ibomcha, MLA, Lamlai AC as the chief guest; Dr Makhomani Mongsaba, Assistant Professor, Manipur University of Culture as the functional president and Nongthombam Rajendro, advisor, ECHAM as the guest of honour.

At the event, speakers addressed the need to uplift Manipuri theatre.
