Kakching, August 11 2025: The All Kakching Sports Association (AKSA) in collaboration with Kakching Khunou Police Outpost and Kakching Khunou Primary Health Centre, conducted a tree plantation drive today at Chonokom, Kakching Khunou, in connection with the World Environment Day.

The plantation programme was attended by Waikhong Police Station, OC Jotin, AKSA Kakching Khunou elder members along with the officer in-charge of Kakching Khunou Police Outpost.

Before the plantation activity began, the gathering observed a two-minute silence to pay tribute to the late player of AKKSA, Heisnam Ngongo (Edhou), who tragically lost his life in a road incident.
