Workshop on 'Taal Ghanabari' concludes

Imphal, September 10 2026: A 30-day workshop cum production on "Taal Ghanabari" organised by Marjing Cultural Academy (MCA) under the sponsorship of Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, concluded today at Achanbigei Mayai Leikai.

The valedictory function was attended by Zilla Parishad, 5-Kontha Khabam, P Bimola, MCA's Pung Guru Pangeijam Apik Singh and State Kala Akademi Awardee Senjam Kameshwar Singh as presidium members.

Students of the Academy presented 'Taal Ghanabari' .

MCA secretary P Abinash Singh said the workshop was organised with the objective of reviving the rare and almost forgotten Taal form through the students of the Academy.
