Imphal, June 02 2026: The Public Health Engineering Department, Manipur has informed that there will be irregular water supply to the public in the areas covered by Ningthempukhri Water Treatment Plant due to maintenance of transformer for Mahabali intake.

Normal water supply will be affected in Ningthempukhri Makha Leirak, Sabi Leirak, Wangkhei Andro Parking, Nongmeibung Chakpram Leirak, Wangkhei St George Leirak, Guruaribam Leirak and other areas covered by Aribam Leikai Zonal Reservoir.

The PHED also announced that water supply will resume once the maintenance work is completed, apologising for the inconvenience caused.
