TB awareness programme held at Khongjom PHC

Thoubal, December 01 2025: The National TB Elimination Programme, Thoubal Unit, under the District Health Society, Thoubal, organised a one-day Tuberculosis awareness programme at Khongjom Primary Health Centre (PHC) on Monday.

During the programme, District TB Officer Thoubal, Dr Yumnam Sammen; District Coordinator Thongam Stephen Chanu; and MO in-charge of Khongjom PHC, served as resource persons.

They delivered detailed insights on Tuberculosis, its symptoms, modes of transmission, and preventive measures.

The event saw active participation from ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers under the jurisdiction of Khongjom PHC .
