Imphal, May 24 2010:
Atleast 70 goods laden trucks including petroleum tankers have been stranded at Jiribam while 50 other Imphal-bound trucks have also been stranded at Fulertal and Lalpani of Cachar in Assam, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Regular service of passenger vehicles between Jiri and Imphal has resumed.
Meanwhile, Kangla Transport Association has said that around 200 goods laden trucks and fuel tankers are still stranded at Jiri.
It added that the vehicles could not join the convoy that reached Imphal on May 22 and 23 due to the number of vehicles was too huge.
