MTDC employees call off pen-down strike

Imphal, July 30 2026: The Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Employees' Association has called off its pen-down strike from July 27, 2026 .

The strike, which began on July 9, was suspended following a meeting on July 23 with the Chairman, MTDC .

According to a statement issued on July 27, the Chairman assured that the accepted demands will be implemented within August 2026.The Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Employees' Association said it has suspended the agitation based on this assurance and expects the commitments to be fulfilled.
