MCM to observe May 3 as "Resistance Day"

Imphal, April 29 2025: Meitei Council Moreh (MCM), Manipur has announced that it will observed May 3, 2025 as "Resistance Day" at Wangjing Kodompokpi Ground to mark the 2nd anniversary of May 3, 2023 incident wherein Meitei residents of Moreh town were forced to flee their hometown.

Meitei Council Moreh in a release has appealed to the people to take part at the public meeting by suspending all their normal activities for the day to make the event a success.
