Imphal, October 26 2025: PHED Workers and Employees Association has urged the Government to regularise Casual Muster Roll workers who have been employed in the department for over two decades.

Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club, the association's president, S Shamungou said the casual muster roll workers and contractual workers who have been in the departments for over 27 years must be confirmed as work-charged employees or regularised.

He said the association will launch intense agitations if the legitimate demand of the workers is not met at the earliest.
