Imphal, July 25 2026: A Development Committee was formed yesterday at the residence of Thoudam Dewan Singh in Khonghampat Mayai Leikai to oversee the locality's development activities.

A public meeting attended by one male member from each household unanimously elected Khundongbam Nilamani Singh as president of the Khonghampat Mayai Leikai Development Committee.

Thoudam Dewan Singh was named secretary and Takhellambam Amusana Singh as treasurer.

The meeting also selected 21 executive members from among the residents to assist in carrying out future welfare and development works in the area.
