CRPF vehicle torched in Tuibong

Imphal, March 25 2026: A CRPF vehicle was vandalised and set ablaze at Churachandpur's Tuibong after two individuals were allegedly hit and injured by a vehicle of the security forces today.

Sources said the injured individuals were rushed to the Churachandpur District Hospital.

Angered by the incident, a mob confronted security personnel and burned down one vehicle of the CRPF .

Security personnel were seen trying to bring the situation under control.

Sounds of gunshots were also heard in the area.

The situation remains tense, said the sources.
