Imphal, June 24 2025: A VDF personnel was found dead on his bed this morning at the VDF Post at Sekmai Laipat Parao under Sekmai police station, Imphal West.

The deceased personnel has been identified as Kh Singhajit, a resident of Malom.

Singhajit was found dead this morning on his bed by his colleagues in the morning, said sources.

Sekmai police have registered a case of unnatural death for further investigation.

The body has been deposited at RIMS mortuary for postmortem.
