Imphal, July 21 2025: Changangei Apunba Lup organised a public meeting at Changangei Lainingthou Khubomba Laikon yesterday to discuss the issues of demarcation of Khas land and identity verification of people who are new to the region.

According to a press release, the gathering resolved to i) work collectively to ensure Khas land demarcation and necessary eviction takes place, ii) take steps to identify Khas land in Changangei in consultation with department officials and iii) conduct fund drive with the participation of Changangei clubs, meira paibis and organisations to finance these initiatives.
