Imphal, September 20 2026: The annual get-together 2026 of Overseas Manipur Medical Students Parents Association was held today at Manipur Press Club on the theme "Empowering Foreign Medical Graduate and Medical Education" .

Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata, retired Manipur College Associate Professor Dr Laiphrakpam Kumar, former DMU VC Prof N Rajmuhon and Dean of Academics, Churachandpur Medical College, Prof Chongtham Arunkumar attended as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Satyabrata appreciated the association's plan to set up a hospital and assured to look into possible Government support.
