Imphal, January 20 2026: Kangleipak News Tengbang Lup (KNTL) received the "Award for Service to Humanity" during a ceremony held today at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul.

The event was organised by Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Memorial Award Committee (LHIMAC) .

The award carries a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh and a memento.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Thangjam Dhabali, CMD, Babina Group of Companies; S Tomba, member, LHIMAC; Nepram Gitkumar, member, High Level Urban Committee on Urban Planning and Wangkhemcha Shamjai, former president AMWJU and chief editor of Kangleipakki Meira as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour.
