Legal awareness on Child Protection and Trafficking held at Kakching

Kakching, August 19 2025: The District Child Protection Unit, Kakching under the supervision of District Administration, Kakching, organised a one day legal awareness programme on Child Protection and Trafficking at Sekmaijin Mayai Leikai Community Hall on Monday for the Village Level Federations (VLFs) of Sekmaijin Gram Panchayat.

The awareness programme was attended by Damgam Khaling, Member Secretary, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Tengnoupal and Mala Lisham, Programme Officer, State Child Protection Society (SCPS) as resource persons.

Around 140 participants from 5 Village Level Federation (VLF) from Sekmaijin Gram Panchayat attended the programme.
