Transaction failure stalls fuel transportation
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, November 18 2024:
At a time when the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is not in a position to meet the people's demands for petrol and LPG, transportation of fuel by other oil marketing companies has also been stalled due to failure in bank transactions.
Apart from IOCL, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Nayara Energy and Essar have their shares in the State's oil market.
These companies ship in fuel along NH-2 (Imphal-Dimapur highway) but due to bank transaction failures since Friday, these companies have suspended fuel transportation.
