Imphal, August 17 2025: The internees and undergraduate students of JNIMS have declared an indefinite protest from Monday onwards.

According to a statement released by JNIMS Students' Association (JSA) president Laishram Lenin and Information & Publicity secretary Reema Nongmaithem, the increase in the admission fee and the demand for a fair stipend increment/early revision are not new demands but also concern the future students of JNIMS .

Thus, the Association appealed to all students and internees to participate in the protest, which would be carried out in front of JNIMS Ladies Hostel No.l from 9am till noon and from 1 pm till 4 pm .
