Imphal, October 13 2025: Manipur Electricity Employees' Union (MEEU) has appealed to the authorities concerned to release the backlog salaries of the Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL), Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) and EDM employees before the Diwali and Ningol Chakkouba festivals.

In a release, MEEU informed that employees of MSPDCL, MSPCL and EDM have not been given salary for two months (September and October) till today.

MEEU also appealed to the authorities concerned to take necessary steps to release the salaries of MSPDCL, MSPCL and EDM employees before the 10th of every month.
