Security forces arrest man with pistol

Imphal, July 05 2025: Security forces arrested a man with .32 pistol and also continued to recover arms and ammunition from different areas.

According to Manipur Police Control Room, police arrested one Thokchom Rajesh of Bamom Kampu Mayai Leikai from the same locality and seized one .32 pistol with a live round and 7.62 X 30mm AK rifle ammunition on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, security forces conducted search operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas, recovering one .32 pistol, two magazines and a .32 round from Wangoo Naodakhong area under Kumbi police station, Bishnupur district on Thursday.
