Imphal, May 05 2026: Expressing profound shock, the Chingmeirong Nepali Basti Mahila Samiti has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Pushpa Devi (63) at her home in Charhajare in Kangpokpi district on May 3 around 10 pm .

In a press release, the Samiti has demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for the offenders.

It noted that the heinous crime has created widespread fear among the people and called for justice for the victim.
