AR celebrates Friendship Day with orphaned, displaced children

Kakching, August 02 2025: Assam Rifles commemorated Friendship Day by organizing a special outreach event in Kakching district.

Students from Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Kakching, visited the Kalyan Ashram Orphanage, where they celebrated the day with children from nearby orphanages and Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps.

The highlight of the day was the symbolic exchange of friendship bands.

Message boards with heartfelt notes and vibrant art comers gave the children a platform for self-expression.
